Welcome.
When I got my first straight razor I was strongly advised by some who I respect to get a very good vintage razor and have it professionally honed. It was very good advice for me. I've enjoyed a lot of shaves with that razor and I've bought a few more since then.markbignosekelly and Gasman like this.
