ya, i'd agree that 25$ for a shave ready razor in good condition is a fantastic deal..not just a good one.

those old fredrick reynolds are heavy, durable razors and will last a very long time. good choice by you.

as for another razor, i think what travis was saying is that he won't use anything besides a straight.. not simply that 1 straight only. but if you were saying that ..hehe ill just chuckle a little as soon it will kick in, as the shaves get better and easier and you buy more and look back at this post..hehehe

as for honeybee sue's soaps. they are AWESOME. go over and see her, get 2-3. they really are superb soaps. she has tons of scents and if she doesn't have one on hand, she has a list of scents, simply tell her what you want and usually she'll make it up. she did that for me for both of mine.

ps. go get some honeybee sue's soaps, your face will thank you.

Yeah I meant never use another razor as in not using a Gillete or throw away blades and what not. I plan on investing in a few more Straight edge blades, anyone selling any shave ready for a reasonable price? Also anyone in the Boston, Massachusetts area that can hone a good blade and maybe share some tips and tricks please let me know, Thanks. - Travis.

Check the buy/sell/trade forum for incredible deals from people you can trust... There are often razors there in the realm of $25-$35, shave ready.

I have four of Honeybee Sue's soaps, and if you live that close to her, you should DEFINITELY go see her. If the word Gardenia strikes a scent note with you, get her Gardenia soap. It's to Die for!! All her scents are wonderful, and her soap's lather is on par with some gourmet soaps I've tried since I began my Razor acquisition disorder and Soap Acquisition disorder fits.

Welcome to an addiction, and a beautiful tradition.

    Cheers,
    Landis

Yeah I talked to her in a few emails but she doesnt sell out of her house. I may try and meet up in a public place if its easier and more comforting for her because I wouldn't mind checking out some of the scents before I buy them, but if all else fails I will just suck it up and buy them online like everyone else haha. Anyone have any suggestions for a good pre-shave, post-shave, moisturizer, anything else I may not be thinking of at this time??
