As a follow?
As I have not had much luck Sharpening my Dovo carbon steel purchased a straight shaved ready for a reference. My dovo seems not move from a acuity, not the cause. I shave with dovo every 2 days so I think this near a shave ready. After receiving my straight shave ready that would have to do?
Greetings for all
Sorry for my bad english

I'm not sure that I understand. But what I think your post is saying is that you think your Dovo is not sharp enough. You have bought another, shave ready, razor to use as an edge reference. Your question is about what you should do when the new razor arrives.
Is this correct?
Don't worry about your english, its much better than my spanish. Oh and who says the new razor is "shave ready"?

OK,
Are you sure the new razor is shave ready? Many will say shave ready but they are not. If someone on this board says it is ready then you can trust that it is.
If it is really shave ready, I suggest you shave with it. If it feels better, then you have a problem in honing or stropping your Dovo. If it feels the same as your Dovo, then I suspect you have a problem with your shaving technique (or it was not shave ready).
Perhaps some others can provide better advice, I am still new.

I might suggest examing the new edge with a microscope for a visual understanding of what is different between your edge and that honed my a craftsman. Even I have provided some new insights to a few members who examined my edges once they arrived. One member even bought a razor just to look at it.

If you can't get it to work send it to me, I'll hone it up for you for the cost of shipping. I don't have a lot of time so it might take a few days before it's ready but once it's done it'll be fine.
