hi guys just joined srp and started to get information on st8 shaving and have managed to get a nice razor (I have posted the details in the razor forum) and a badger hair brush. dose any one know of a good honemaster in the uk as I would like to send my razor away to be honed? It dose seem like a black art st8 shaving but hope to stick with it.

any way hope to post lost more on here as time passes and more questions come up

I also recollect poona's sign off offering honing. I think he's based in N.Ireland.

You'll find a few of us UK-ers on here (although why so many of us seem to be called Mark or Tony is beyond me!). Check through the other areas on this forum as there's talk of a UK get-together possibly in the new year.

Welcome, good to have you here!! I am too new to the straight but have been hanging around this place a while.

I would also be very interested in a UK honer that is willing to offer his/her services as I am pretty sure my Dovo is getting a little too dull for good results each shave. So any takers would be appreciated

I'd say, through hours of reading that Steelforge (Iwan) is yer man...

Many of us can hone but Iwan seems to get the razors to a cheek filleting sharpness!!!
