Thread: My First Shave....Ow!!

Also I wanted to say, I had about a week and a half worth of beard grown when I shaved, does this matter? I mean, will it pull more if the hair is longer? I know it does with my mach 3, but I would have just assumed it made no difference how long the hair is with a straight razor.

I was quietly wondering the same thing...

I like a day or two of growth, for a straight that is perfect. More than 3 days and your getting into harder territory. At some point your really pushing it.

I like a couple of days growth I think you get a better shave. I however have to shave every day for work. If I am not doing anything over the weekend I will not shave until Monday morning but then I use my bigger razor... BBS

I wish I could shave everyday.... My hair growth doesn't allow me to do so..... I wait patiently to shave every 5-7 days....

Luckily my two jobs doesn't warrant me to be clean shaven everyday...

Like today.. I shaved today and I can't stop smiling... Fridays are great arent they ?
