Thread: Wapis have arrived!

Package arrived today from Wojtek's ebay friend with no damage.

The razors look to be 5/8 with an oblique point (not round, but slopes forward from spine toward edge). Definitely NOT shave ready. Has the SFK triangle stamp and some nice serrating on the bottom of the tang for a more secure grip.

First impressions: Ohh...shiney!!

Definitely a lot heavier than my other two, because of the scales. (Ohh...shiney!!) I'm not sure how it'll affect balance/handling during shaving...but I guess I'll find out! I'm already considering ordering some pakkawood scales from Classic Shaving for them, however, just to lighten them up some.

These will be in line for honing/test after I get the Solingen and Boker how I want them.

I bought two of the Wapis with the steel scales and I love them! They hone up very very and shave pretty nice too. They are a great deal...especially for a beginner at this like me.
