Thread: Thanks and Shout outs

Greetings all

Just wanted to use my first post to thank all the folks who have helped me get started with using a str8 razor.

First, a huge thanks to everyone here at SRP. I have been lurking around for several weeks reading and learning while trying to decide whether to give this a shot. The info I have found here has been top notch and very helpful. Thanks to you guys, i steered clear of several newbie mistakes (for example zeepk = big no no) .

Thanks to ebay seller Altima55 (who I found recommended here) for a good deal on a truely shave ready str8.

Thanks to Tony for personally helping me pick out my first strop. He makes some great gear there.

All in all, you guys rock and you have helped make this a very positive experience for me (nicks and all). I haven't touched my Mach 3 for over two weeks, and each shave is better than the last.

Now where do i sign upfor the RAD support group meetings?

You've found the right place to learn here , Rod . I have 2 razors I got from altima55 , and they are both excellent razors , very clean and very sharp . You will probably throw that mach 3 away soon .
