I'll wait till Xmas time so that ways my wife won't complain...If I get it then I'll eventually have to use it...

! I think you're doing just fine , just be careful with your razor . You're lucky you didn't shatter the blade . Don't feel too bad though , I think we've all done it , I did it once and got lucky too . By the time you get to your sixth or so shave you will start feeling like you know what your doing . Just be careful you don't get over confident , I did and things got a little messy
. Although I can say , blood in your lather seems to make the razor glide nicely over your skin
