Yup, it was me! With a wife and 3 daughters, I am way out-numbered!
I assumed it was common in years gone by, but curious about now.
Glad to hear I was not way off the mark. I may broach the subject with my oldest (15). I am not sure how much I'd trust her with a str8 seeing how she took a huge slice out of her leg about a year ago (just above the ankle)! She hadn't been trying to shave for long, but she did a real doozie!
Only good part is I will bet she doesn't make that mistake again!

Most of the time these days, it's a good glass of red wine! I like the big, beefy ones like cab sauvignon, red zin, mouvedre, vintage port in the winter, and a few others. But I also like a good ale--my favorites are porters, stouts, wheat beers and strongish lagers. And I'm a fan of local and non-local microbrews as long as they're not too hoppy (I do wish microbrewers would quit trying to show off how hoppy they can get and get back to making good beer.)
I don't care for whiskey or liquors unless they're in a mixed drink--too strong for me. But I do make a mean margarita, and cook decent Mexican food to go with it!
You're welcome, Six! I'm happy to help.

When I was first starting to shave, I was perusing the local big box store ( *Mart) and I noticed a package of what was shaped like two straight razors, made from plastic. I forget their exact name, but they were meant for use with depilatory creams. I haven't seen them since (out of curiosity, I have occasiaonnly checked for them). I just find it interesting that the one thing imitated with another method to avoid cartridge razors is the very thing you are using to avoid cartridge razors!
Margaritas ... Do you stick to a 'classic' (lime juice, tequila, and a bit of sugar) or flavored? I've been told my (blended) strawberry margarita is better than a mix, but then no one believes it's not. (Tequila, bit of sugar, ice, lime juice, and a few strawberries -- that's it) Bah .. Just found it interesting.
