Thread: Got two razors honed..best shave ever.

I had to come in and tell somebody. I just had my 6th or 7th(not sure) straight razor shave this morning and tried out a brand new dovo 4/8 and a vintage union cutlery "spike" that Kenrup just restored for me. I got the dovo and sent it along with the spike to Ken to be honed. I keep reading horror stories about "new razors that won't shave" and "newly honed razors that just pull hair"..I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was a great shave, best yet since I started with the straights.

Excellent! I was starting to get worried myself.
