Hello.

I recently ran out of my standard cartridge blades and after some research decided to take the plunge into using a straight razor. Everyone I know that I've mentioned that too thinks I'm crazy and it's a bad idea, but I'm betting it probably won't turn out too horridly.

Now I've read a lot about how newly bought razors aren't really ready to shave with when you get them. After looking around a bit I decided to get a set from Vintage Blades LLC: http://www.vintagebladesllc.com/vsho...cat=142&page=1

I choose the pre-honed option as well. Is this enough or is there anything else I'll need to do to make this blade ready to shave with? Also, is there anything not included in that kit that I might need to start this venture?
