    I think one of the reasons so many of us
    shave at night as was illustrated in a recent post.
    That much more time to concentrate and
    not be rushed.

    I must have missed that post, but I was just thinking about the same thing. It makes sense to make sure you are doing this when you have time to relax and concentrate. At least when you are just starting out.

    LOL! No it was with a recently acquired Torrey. Much bigger blade than my others, so much so it is now referred to as the Machete!

    The larger blade was not related in any way to the cut- it was my own stupidity.

    Actually, I prefer the AM just because it generally puts me in a better frame-of-mind for the day. This gaff re-made the point that I need to slow down and focus to start the day right!

    Yikes! I never rush while shaving, I always leave
    plenty of time in the morning. This is the safest
    and most enjoy circumstance to give yourself the
    perfect straight razor shave!

    I think we all learn and are sometimes unpleasantly reminded, shave in haste and bleed at leisure.
