Thanks for the welcome guys, I dont know about every day with a straight (I shave at night before I go to bed because there is no time in the mornings what with leaving for work at 6:30 and haviny a 7month old and an 100lb dog to deal with, there is no time for a nice long hot shower + shave...
but saying that, if it works out and its comfortable to do every day then I may have to just do it! (tm).

Second that. In the "Shaving" section of
this forum you'll notice a post titled
"shaving at night". You'll notice that most
people who replied to that post do
shave at night, myself included. Welcome and
have fun.

Thanked: 1Welcome MadAussie,
There are a few fellow Antipodeans here in the list, I'm in Brisbane. I'm sure the others will introduce themselves in time.
I'm only a new convert to straight shaving myself. I've been using one for about a month now and really enjoying it. It will take a while for you to get good shaves as it really does require skill, but that is part of the fun I'm to the point that when I can spend the time to do 2 passes, I can get a really good shave, but often if in the morning I only have time to do one pass. This is still pretty good, but once you find out what is possible.. well your expectations go up.. I'm thinking of swapping to shaving in the evening.
Cheers,
Ash.
