Thanked: 0One moment of inattention.
I've shaved around 8 or 9 times. Up until now I've managed to avoid any cuts. Last night I put a 2 inch cut on the left side of my face, along the jawline. I'm experimenting with using both hands, this may have been a factor. I believe I moved the blade lengthwise just slightly. Or I may have held the blade at an incorrect angle and applied too much pressure.
Out comes the steptic pencil, and I finished up.
Straight shaving is enjoyable, I am still working on coordination and smoothness.
As my stropping skills get better I'm sure things will get smoother.
I am enjoying the process.
Regards,
Mitch

Thanked: 0The funniest part was, when I woke up the next morning, my wife saw the line on my face.
Pointed and went "Ooooooooohhhhh", then walked away laughing.
I'll use this later as a lead-in as to why I need a different razor.

Mitch

2.5 weeks for me on a spike point--I'm now "paying dues" on recessed areas below my jawline if I'm not careful/creative...
