Thanked: 0Where can i buy a wedge straight razor??
I would like to purchase a wedge straight razor, rather than the full hollow ground razors that are common place on the various sites.
Because i am a newbie i do not know where to look for one.
Any tips on which manufacturer makes the better razor would be much appreciated.
I would also like one with a carbon steel blade and not stainless steel.
Thanks for your help.

If your looking for a new razor the only place you will find a wedge is if you order from one of the custom makers. TI makes some part hollows. The best bet is vintage. There are loads on Eboy or you can check the ones for sale on this site.

Hi,
I actually have a vintage carbon steel Sheffield wedge, 5/8 i think is the size. I have given it a good clean, a few marks on it but is still very sharp but not shave ready. Will need to be stropped maybe even honed. The edge is perfect
I was going to make a new set of scales for it, but if you are in need then i have no problem parting with it.
Im in the UK also so would be more than willing to send it. £25 inc postage? Open to offers though.
