need a hands on experience from an expert in cleveland
unfortunately I missed NE Ohio event...
if somebody could advice me where I can get help on honing, stroping etc from an expert in Cleveland area I'd greatly appreciate it,

PS I shave with 5/8 Dovo, carbon steel, not happy with what I'm getting

The recent get together demonstrated that their are quite a few regular straight shavers in the area. If you are looking to get some hands on help it might be helpful to know what part of town you are located in. If you are looking to get a razor honed you aren't far from the best in the business. One definite suggestion is to buy Lynn's DVD http://straightrazorpalace.com/showthread.php?t=7412 . It pretty much covers most topics that you will run in to. So, how can we help you?

I live in Beachwood. Basically I think the razor is dull. I strope it every day but still can't get what I want (hair cut test fails). I need somebody to show me how to hone the razor etc. before I destroy it by wrong technique. I guess I'll get your DVD first...
