I got a pre-honed Dovo from Vintage Blades and it shaves really well. It seemed to pull hair during my first shave, but I think that's only because I was shaving a rather lengthy beard off (my huntin' beard!), and not because the razor wasn't sharp. Last night I shaved again, even though I didn't have much growth, and it still cut with ease.
I think you'll be pleased with the Dovo that's on it's way.

Do consider some more laps on the linen/canvas with very
light pressure. If 40-50 laps before your next shave does
not improve the edge, you will probably have to go back to
sharpen it further. A pasted paddle strop is ideal for this if
you don't have a lot of honing experience.

I got my DOVO Perlex in the mail two days ago, and today was the first day I had a chance to shave with it. I stropped it 50 on the canvas and 60 on the leather, and it is scary sharp. There's a marked difference between the new DOVO and the razors I've been using in terms of how sharp they are, which tells me I've got some work to do on my other razors.
As an aside, I was so used to the others that I got ahead of myself before I realized just how sharp it was that I gave myself a pretty good nick on my cheek. I haven't nicked myself at all lately, and when I first started, the I usually nicked myself in an area that was difficult to reach, not on my cheek.

+1 on the pasted strop. It was a life saver for me when I was first starting out and even now when I get too lazy I use it for regular touch-ups. I've got one with black (can't remember what it's called or the micron) and one with the green chrome oxide - 0.5 micron. I usually only use the green.
Good luck,
