    Default New here...love it !!!

Hi everyone,im Ricky i work in dermatology.I start shaving when i was in colage with a desposable blade straight razor.I learn a lot on how to shave by my self. After many "cut" i got the skills. Then with time i quit shaving with that razor.

Like 2 month ago i was thinking to get a new straight razor so i did,i get another disposable blade straight razor. It was not too bad,i still having the skills. So i decide to buy a real straight razor.I found "clasic shaving" and i get theTheirs-Issard Evide Sonnant Extra 6\8.

Good Lord the best shave ever.It is ready for shaving out of the box. Then i get the strop DOVO,it keep in good shape my razor,i just love it.One day my wife stop in the bathroom to see me shaving, she said is very intresting and look sexy...lol.BTW she shave my left side of my face last night, but she stop cuz she dont want to cut me...lol !!!

Anyways,im happpy to be here, hope to meet more ppl who love clasic shaving.

Nice to have you aboard! Sounds like you're pretty far along in the world of straight shaving. Gratz on the success and the help from the Mrs.! That's sweet man.

Welcome to SRP. Your story reminds me of why I should probably think of picking up a TI one of these weeks...

Welcome to SRP! If you think that the razor shaves great out of the box, wait until you shave with a honemeister sharpened edge. It is a different level.

Welcome to SRP! You are way ahead of most newcomers to this board. And like heavydutysg135 stated. Just wait to you have you first shave with a professionally honed razor!

Lynn, who goes by the name adjustme69 on this board (that he founded) has probably honed more razors than anyone in the world (over 8,000) so he could definately help you out. JoshEarl and I both offer honing services as do some other people on the board who I cannot remember at this time. I recommend that you look at this thread to see what we are talking about:
