Thanked: 0So close I can taste it ...
1) I became a member (this place really is awesome)
2) I did some forum research
3) I purchased a Solingen razor on Ebay
4) I ordered Lynns DVD and its on its way
5) Last but not least, I just shipped the razor of to be honed by an expert.
6*) I aced my statistics mid-term
It has been a fun journey . But now I find myself at one of the last steps and figure there is no reason to stray from asking for advice at this stage of the game. I am looking for a badger brush and good soap without spending over 40 dollars. I'd like to get them from the same place to avoid extra shipping fees too if that is possible. I have a large face (6ft 4 300lbs ... go figure) and I don't now if that means I should get a large brush or if size doesn't really matter that much. Any and all suggestions are appreciated at this point. Thanks.

Crabtree and Evelyn should have what you are looking for. I know they have all kinds of brushes and soap. The Edwin jagger brush is 35 dollars.

I will echo Matt's recommendation with the C&E BBB. At $33.50 plus shipping is an outstanding bargain. This place doesn't always have them in stock but is a good place to get them. http://www.pcfallon.com/search_resul...subcat~546.asp Maybe you have a Crabtree and Evelyn retail store near you.
