Thread: Getting pretty good, could use some help

I have shaved several times with my 5/8 Dovo and have managed to get excellent baby butt smooth shave with the Dovo, but have not managed to get adequate at the chin. I am right hand dominant and I tend to extend the blade, with the right hand, towards the right side, will try with the blade to the left. Any help forum members can give would be appreciated. May also order a stainless steel razor shortly.

Stretch the skin, go across the grain left to right and use the base of the razor, not the tip.

Funny, I looked at this thread before AFDavis replied and felt bad because I didn't know how to put in words what I do for my chin, but AFDavis described perfectly what I do! The only difference being I work from the side to the middle of my chin on one side and then switch sides and work from that side to the middle of my chin!
