    Smile Shaving Upper lip

I just received my razor yesterday and tried it out yesterday afternoon. I hadn't shaved in two days and went through all the steps of soaking the face using hot towels etc. I do have a problem in shaving my upper lip area. I just don't seem to be able to get the razor in the right angle in order to shave it. Any suggestions?

I have this same problem. UL was always a problem for me even with a cartridge razor, the mustache hair seems to be a little tougher than the rest of my face, as well as the mentioned angle problems. What I've found to work best is to hold the razor at the correct angle from skin, and try to shave at an angle going from the nose out-and-down sort of combined cross grain/with grain. This will leave a spot in the center of your UL unshaven... the best I've been able to do with that is to very carefully go XTG in that area..

In case you aren't doing it, switching hands can help. I split my upper lip into shaving halves because Alex's way (from the video) tends to irritate my skin. I use my right hand to do the left side and vice-versa. Just because it works for me doesn't mean it'll work for you though
