I hope I spelled that one right. Anyhow I do not have much time in the morning to get going off to work and shaving with my straight is one of those things that takes a while to do, can take some time. So I have been faling back on my double edges to take care of me in the morning.

I guess I really should start getting in there in the evenings after I have put my son to bed and practice with that straight razor. Got to get more practice in order to get a decent shave out of it.

Evenings is where it's at for me. I also don't have much time between waking up and work (and no, I can't force myself to get up any earlier

). So after we lay my daughter down, I go at it. It's nice, too, because I am not rushed for time. I can relax and enjoy and nice long shave with some music.

I shave in the evenings. There's no way I can wake up early enough to fit in a proper shave.

I also shave in the evening . I enjoy shaving with a straight razor , and I don't want to have to rush through it .

This is one of those confessions that is going to make me sound crazy but . . . I often shave parts of my face at different times of the day. I usually grow a pretend goatee during the week and shave it off one evening during the week. By the weekend I'm clean shaven for the babes and then back to the work grind. I only shave my entire face (in one standing) one day a week. It works surprising well.

Personally, a lemon butter sauce is what I prefer for my sole . . .
