Thanked: 02 more noob questions
1: What does the different hollow grounds mean? i.e. 1/2, full, and so on. And as I still have yet to shave, will this matter for me?
2: What does RAD mean and is there a post some where that has a list of straight razor lingo us noobs can study?
Thanks for the help!

The different grinds refer to the amount of material removed from the razor. A wedge would have the most, full hollow the least. This makes full hollows much more flexible than wedges, helping you get the closest shave. Some find wedges to cut coarse beards better and/or be more comfortable. YMMV.
As for the acronyms, check out this thread.
