    I thought the same from the pictures. I had a Zeepk strop, but mine had "Zeepk" stamped at the top of the leather (and lopsided at that!).

    I think the "white" side on that model is actually felt like Hand American uses. The middle eastern makers are quick to copy popular designs now, often missing the finer points that makes our crafted products unique.

    They have a 4 side available at times that even uses a golden "honey brown" colored leather as I have for years....the key word here is "looks like" as opposed to "the same as" <g>.

    The flet is a great idea, especially if done right. I prefer pastes on a paddle vs. hanging strop but it is a very nice, viable design....if done right as HA likely does.
