Thanked: 0My first shave... how did I do?
So today I bought my first straight razor... and did a first shave...
I have one pretty big scar... and some small ones...
and I wanna ask you for my first time... what do you think how did I do...
the blody one is right after cut... and other is when bleading stoped
small ones didn't bleed...
other side of the face has no scars... so just my right side...

Has the razor been charged with assault?

Welcome aboard, and...
Cheeks look nice, but ouch! Being new to str8 shaving, I would recommend working JUST the cheek area until you really have the technique and motions down. Then once you've mastered that, move on to the neck and chin/lip areas.
Overall not too bad! Have you read into any of the shaving tutorials on here? They are REALLY helpful.

First, was your razor honed and made shave ready after leaving the factory? You didn't do badly, but you might want to go a little easier until you get a better feel for wielding the razor - being able to put it where you want, how you want, etc. Maybe just do the flat parts of your face and then expand from there. Go for a comfy shave and let the closeness come on its own. Kind of like in boxing when they say work the jab and the knock out will follow. Welcome to the dark side

Bloody hell mate - go easy man. (excuse the pun)
Glad to say, I've never cut myself that bad.
My advice? Just practice holding and shaving with the razor on the sides of your face first (I never did this, I just went gung ho but I was careful)
Rushing a slowly learned skill is not worth the injuries.
Moreoever, enjoy it.

and I didn't check out the tutorials here, but I will
thanks for that tip about shaving first the cheeks, and when I'm skilled to move to other parts... wouldn't think of that...

Also when you are confident enough, use the Coup De Maitre movement for under the nose/upper lip.
I think Alex has a quick vid on youtube on how to perform this.
Yes he does - here it is....
