Thanked: 0Need a Honing!! a strop a cup and a brush
So I just recieved my great-grandfather's old straight edges. I'd posted about them previously. Now, I need to get the sharpened and I need to find out where I can purchase some soap, a cup and a strop? If I could get them honed and buy the rest of the supplies from the same person, that would be most preferable for me.

Thanked: 0For strops, you cannot beat Tony Miller's strops. I also believe that he has a honing service ...

For soaps and mugs, etc. you can look here:

For soaps I would strongly suggest going to Mama Bear's or TGQ (Colleen's)
An excellent choice for a cup is a $4 icecream sundae bowl at Walmart.
Strops, go to Tony Miller
and honing, just PM any member that lists honing in their signature line... I can help, pretty much anybody who is selling in B/S/T... there are many choices.
