Thanked: 0different types of points and grinds
hi,
i was wondering if anyone could compile or point me towards a list (pictures are great) of all the different types of razor points and grinds. there's so many, i'd just like to see the options and find out what appeals to me.
also, in terms of grinds, what is the most wedge-like grind that can also be honed without having to hone the entire side of the blade down as well?
thanks
aaron

well... it had been a long long time since anybody has made a true wedge nearly all the wedges you will find, except for some custom ones, will be hollowed a little. a 1/4 or 1/2 wedge will bee nice and heavy and a silent shaver. but in reality you can shave just as well with a extra hollow or a wedge... providing they are sharp and that you have taken the time to learn the proper prep and shaving techniques... i have them all and love them... lately though i have been favoring my smaller wedges... 4/8 and 5/8... stiff grinds and light wieght... great to shave with
