Thread: Glossary... Please?

Allow me to demonstrate a bit of the ocean of ignorance in which I am drowning. There are used in this community many acronyms, initials and terms that are unknown to me. I pretty much get the drift of most based on the context (such as "HAD") but I know not the exect breakdown. Is there a thread that defines these cryptic groupings of characters? Or maybe we can establish a listing herein? Or maybe you vets can just share a hardy belly laugh as I fumble about in the dark like when we used to send the new sailors all over the ship to locate a spool of fallopian tubing.

We all miss things in this vast ocean of information.

I'm still wading throught the articles and info... I've hardly made a dent in the library.

^ Agreed. The library has a ton of great resources. I've downloaded most of the pdf's just in case I need some reading without internet access

Thanks for the info. I have to admit I have yet to explore anything here other than the forums. I know some very smart folks put in alot of hours to build this site and I should get out and use it.
