    Default The Curse of the Second Shave

    hey guys, I've been lurking a little bit, but thought i should say hi. This site has been a wealth of info. anyways, i just got my razor (pre-honed Dovo 5/8 spike point) and accessories a week ago and am very pleased.



    first shave was a success, but i got careless on the second and got a nice bleeder on my jaw bone. i guess learning with a spike comes with it's disadvantages

    Congrats on the shaves. Yes, the spike is a little less forgiving than other points. But once you get the hang on it, you'll find you get precise areas of your face with it!

    You have a great setup there! Keep it up.
