I also just recently got hooked on shaving with a straight razor. My addiction began with pretty much the same story, and I used my loan money on my starting stuff, and plan on using the money I get from selling my books to buy a new razor!

oh my god. i completely forgot about book buy back! BEAUTIFUL IDEA!! haha
i was pokin around menshealth.com and saw an article for the perfect shave. i ended up somehow watching a video online of a guy straight blading, and then... i got the bug. i'm not addicted.. ive been buying goodies as well, not as much as you though
have a kropp 5/8, a wapi and soon a custom.
just bought a GT scuttle. tempted to buy a dovo

you've got a Kropp, Wapi, custom, and are looking at a Dovo. you bought a Georgetown Scuttle and ordered a sampler pack from Trumpers. AND you're trying to locate glycerin so that you can make some Uber-lather... Originally Posted by ctufano

Not to feed the <cough> addiction <cough> but most decent pharmacy stores will have glycerine. Like Rite-Aid, Harmons, etc...
