Thread: First partial shave.....no blood

So I got my freshly honed razor back last week and yesterday I finally received my sampler pack from Colleen. My lather is still lacking in the quantity/quality department but I'm sure with more practice I will develop some creamy goodness.

I made due with what I had though. I just did one pass WTG just on the cheeks to get my bearings. I was pleased at how easily the hair is removed. So I'm happy to say I finally popped my straight razor cherry.

I finished the job with my DE. My plan is to do more and more with the straight and less with the DE each shave.

Congrats on the first shave! You should have no problem with your transition from DE to Straight. Have fun with the lather and prep...it has a huge impact on your shave.
