Thanked: 14n00b saying hello
Hello everyone! I've been surfing the forums for the past two weeks and all the information has been very helpful. I've always wanted to learn how to use a straight razor since i was a kid. Actually buying a SR has been on my to do list for a few months now and i finally broke down and bought one off ebay last night after loosing five or six previous auctions my very first straight razor is is a W&B. It looks in pretty good condition, i'll post pics when i get it. But it will need some restoration which i can do myself. sorry i'm writing so much i'm just excited! Anyway i just thought i'd let everyone know a little about myself
I am currently a college student at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene Texas but Arlington tx is my home. I think of my-self as a "jack-of-all-trades" kind of guy and it has served me well shile being flat broke in college :-D I got fed up with paying oogles for shaving cartriges so this month instead of buying cartriges i boutght a straight...blah blah blah
Hey everyone!

Hehe, I bet you'll end up like the most of us, buying straights for all the money you may "save" from not shaving with cartridges

Welcome, Detach. Those ideas of saving money will disappear pretty quickly when RAD sets in.
