What Should I buy?
Hello All, I will be going to Germany in the next month and will be in the market for a higher end straight razor. it will not be my last straight razor I buy but... I want this to be a one in a life time purchase with the best quality and something I can pass down to my next generation. and suggestions on what I should be looking for?

If I was looking for a future heirloom I would do the same, that doesn't foretake that you might find an awesome razor in Germany though. Hopefully some of our german friends will chime in here with some advice...

I'd hit the German antique stores, flea markets etc. I would also try to make a run to DOVO just to see what fine thing they might have lying around.
