    Default Some Real Success

I'm about six week into straight shaving now. I went from my Dovo Shavette to a great Wade and Butcher I got from Dewey at our DFW meeting. I have made the upgrades as I went along: soap/cream from Colleen, badger brush, strop from Tony.

My point is that everything is beginning to really fall into place. I had a fantastic shave today. My technique is impoving along with the supplies.

I offer this as a testimony to other newbies who are struggling at first. Stick with it, the effort will pay off, and I think using the right stuff is very important.

Congrats! I agree about using the right stuff. Understanding a few key basics is also a recipe for success.
