Hello from Halifax
Hi, I've been lurking this forum for several weeks picking up all sorts of info / tips / etc, I figured it was time for my first post.
I am a recent convert to DE shaving and having read all the great info on straight shaving am considering giving it a try. While on the hunt for some vintage DE's in a local antique shop (RAD set in very quick ... I went from one Merkur HD to 10 DE's in about 3 weeks) I was denied in the DE department but came across the following straight which for some reason I couldn't resist purchasing (I figured for $25 I couldn't go too wrong).
I'm still trying to track down someone local to hone it for me and can't wait to give it a go.
Cheers,
rick

Congratulations on your first post! And congrats on a good snag. I think flopyshoes does honing in Canada.

Beautiful razor! Should turn out to be a great shaver for you, as well.

Welcome.
Dr. Chris Moss is in Nova Scotia, I believe. Few can equal his straight razor shaving and honing experience.
He's an SRP member here. If you look up his user name and send him a Private Message I'm sure he'll help you.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. I've been in contact with Dr. Moss who has generously offered to hone my straight. I will be sending it to him early next week.
Floppyshoes - I'm certain I will be in touch in the future as SRAD is seeming to be just as contagious as DE RAD.
Cheers,
