Hello from France
Good morning Gentlemen,
First of all, I apologyse for my poor English
I just join this forum, but I post on a French One (the "3C")
I'm using straight razors for a long time now, my father (who were a barber teach me at the age of 14).
I have about 15 razors and my preference goes to the two following:
Waker 7/8
And Thiers Issard Essercheroup 230 6/8
I'm really happy to join you
Bye

Salut et bienvenue, Chewie. What lovely pictures, I'm drooling here. Wish my dad had taught me at 14, had to wait 'til 45 to start. Oh well, better late than never.

Soyez le bienvenu!
You got some great razors there. My 1st 15 razors did not include such fine specimens!Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr.

Welcome, Chewie!! Sounds like you have a wonderful family history, and a great foundation in the world of straight shaving!
Good luck,

Welcome!
Don't let fear of language mistakes keep you from joining in.
BTW, I'd store that TI like a firearm, locked-up and out of sight.

Thanked: 15Bonjour Chewbacca,
Welcome to Straight Razor Place.
I look forward to seeing some more posts from you, and perhaps a little help as I try to learn the art of straight razor shaving.
Like many here I have only just started to shave with straight razors. It would appear from your post that you have quite a lot of experience having started soo young.
