Thanked: 0An Albertans First REAL Shave
Its been a long time coming. But i finally had my first Straight Razor Shave yesterday.
After gathering all my materials, I finally had my razor shave ready.
I started with the soap, not the best I am afraid. My ability to develop a good lather needs much work, but I got there,
the shaving went pretty well. A small nick below my nose, and an even smaller one near my temple, and a little razor brun on the neck.
I know the shave can be much better than this, but i am pleased with the results, and I am very much looking forward to putting in the practice to get GREAT at shaving with the straight.
I was not nearly as nervous as expected, but I have had plenty of time to prepare for the final event.
Thanks for all the support, couldnt have done it with out the help of the fine folks on SRP.
I will get pictures of all my gear up here eventually.Last edited by Phill The Thrill; 05-20-2008 at 09:31 PM.

Great news Phill I'm sure you'll be able to get it even sharper and perfect your technique to get outstanding results out of it. It's good to have another person keeping the art alive on our side of the border
