New but not young guy from downunder
Hello fellow razorians.
My name's Ossie & ironically I'm from Australia though of Italian parentage, born in Egypt and I love all things Japanese. Globally speaking my family is not very close. Some live in France, some in Italy, others in South America. As you can see patriotism is confusing for me but humour comes easy.
Started straight shaving back in the early eighties but gave up in disgust at my inability to keep an edge on my razor. Back and forth to it for a couple of decades and after lottsa research and some lurking on SRP it seems I finally have some idea of what I'm doing. Was even brave enough to to have completed a couple of restos which I hope to post when I'm not sanding, grinding or buffing in the shed. So, thanx to all and hope I can contribute something back, learn some more & have a laugh.
Cheers
Os
P.S. Love Sheffield Wedges & Solingen hollows and almost any variations thereof. Got a lotta love. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

There is tons of info here so I'm happy to hear your shaves have improved. Do show your restos when you get a chance.
