    Thumbs up newbie's first shave

    Hi my name is David Rains and I'm new to straight razor shaving. I just finished my first straight razor shave and I was really satisfied with the shave. I only cut myself once but other than that it was the best shave I've ever had. Very satisfied with the shave and EVERYONE should convert to straight razor shaving again!

    That's great news, David. Apparently, you're on of those guys to whom shaving with a straight razor come reasonably easily and naturally. You may consider yourself very lucky.
    Most people have a steep learning curve, adopting straight razor practice. Should any questions pop up in the future or if you just like to share your experiences, you've come to the best possible place.

    Hey David, welcome to SRP and congrats on your first shave. I've been able to convert 3 people to straight razor shaving in the 4 months that I've been using straights myself.

    I just finished my 2nd shave with a straight razor. It was a amazing shave even better than the first(with no blood this time).

    BTW I'm using antique razors
