Thread: First shave tonight

I just got my first straight razor from the BST(a Dubl Duck Dwarf), and I couldn't wait until morning to try it out. I have to admit that I was nervous when I got the razor to my face and almost gave up without trying. I toughed it out, lathered up with some Mama Bear's Hydrogen and went for it. I planned on just doing my cheeks, but everything was going so smooth, I did my whole face. The only problem I ran into was the West to East pass on my neck. So I finished that up with my Progress. No cuts, nicks, or blood. I did manage to get a little razor burn though. One thing I really liked about the straight razor....I can get those hard to reach places like under my nose and the corners of my mouth. I will definately be a life long straight razor shaver.

Well, as they say, any shave you can walk away from, without leaving a trail of blood, is a good shave. Congrats, and they will only get better in the future.

Yeah, I can see a slight disorder in my future.

Oh yes before you know it you will have multiple razors, brushes, soaps, strops and hones. But congratulations and welcome.

These disorders would be so much easier to explain to the wife if razors, strops and hones came with genitalia.

After all she keeps saying it's like they're breeding!
