I definitely agree. Of course I am aware of the dangers. I tried to shave outside the shower on dry land and my face just cant handle this type of shaving. I get more nicks and cuts this way and it just hurts. I tried to straight shave one time and I just felt and heard the hairs being cut off. My face looks better when I shave in the shower. I wont even use a mach3 like this. And honestly I have been thinking of this, about how much longer Im going to do this because I think at some point, anything can happen so its something Im going to have to think about if I really want to do this. I dont know how people do it honestly. No amount of hot towels makes it feel right either. I guess i'm too used to it. Ive been doing it since I first started shaving with a razor which was when I was 18, about 7 years ago.

You drop your M3 in there (unlikely anyhow, as they weigh next to nothing), and there is no harm done to you or the razor.

You drop your straight in there...I'd like you to imagine the first protruding piece of your, *ahem* "real estate" that a razor dropped from your chin will encounter..., and if it happens to miss Mr. Happy, there's a good chance of meeting up with Mr. Toe.

I used to use a wet/dry electric in the shower for years. I ceratinly enjoyed the full body scuttle experience. However, I now much prefer being on dry land, with dry hands, and a towel girding my loins when lathering up and shaving with a 3" open blade.

Just saying...
