Very cool diagram!

I agree regarding stropping. I've said it before, a person does not need to hone their own razors to shave this way, but every single person absolutely must learn to strop their razors before every shave in order to shave this way.

David Polan's (Heavydutysg135) honing vids are one of the best things that's happened for recent instructional assistance on SRP. It got me thinking (I'm no stropping expert, but I've come a LONG way) that if I had a good video camera with good sound pick up, I would like to put together a free STROPPING video. Between strop materials (leather, balsa, denim, newspaper, etc), types of strops (paddle, bench, loom, hanging), strop usage, strop techniques there is easily 30 min of killer potential for much needed advice right there. Maybe someday, but it would be cool if there was a detailed stropping instructional vid in addition to the overview in Lynn's DVD.
