Thanked: 0Thanks for the warm welcome
Hi everybody. I just joined yesterday and have been shaving with a straight for less then 3 weeks. My blade is getting dull and it is time for a strop. Does anyone have a suggestion on where a guy on a budget can find a decent strop that wont cost a fortune. Thanks again

Hi and welcome to the forum. Tony Miller is the guy you want to talk to about a strop. He has a begginers strop that might fit what your looking for.

Kenrup also has some beginner strops that her sells. They are not as nice as a Tony Miller beginner strop, but work nonetheless.

Thanked: 2209Welcome!
The rule to follow is to strop for 30-50 round trip laps just before each shave.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin
