    Default Hello

Hey, I'm new to these forums and I was just wondering if anyone could direct me to a good, cheap straight razor for a beginner. I've checked out the post "critical info for new members" and was just wondering if anyone knows of any good all in one sets for beginners. I'm kinda of on a budget so I was hoping for something around $50. Thanks.

    Welcome to SRP!!

I believe that kenrup is selling starter kits and last I heard Mike_ratliff was offering pre-honed Wapi's at a great price.....I'd check out the BST and the Vendor's area.

+1 on KenRup and Mike, for price and reputation. There was also this recent thread on B/S/T where people took pity on a poor grad student and someone ended up giving him everything he needed to get started outright. Post your sob story there and see what happens.
