    Default Antique Hone

SO I was at the antique store today and found a Diamond Edge extra fine hone. I am wondering if this would work for my straight razor because I need a hone still. It looks to be pretty old but still in good condition. Any feedback would be great. THANK YOU

Please post pictures. Also, if it came with a box, please show the box.

Most of the Barber hones are edge refreshing/finishing stones, 6000-10,000 grit so it should work. But.... it will not remove nicks or set a bevel. And they are very slow cutters...usually.
