Left shaving
Gentlemen, I am right handed, not ambidextrous, right handed. Before viewing Lynn's DVD, it would never have occurred to me to shave half my face with my left hand. But, hey, he's the man and he certainly knows what he's talking about. From shave one the blade cut noticebly smoother using my left hand. That quite shocked me. My only guess is that my left hand did not have to unlearn what my right hand had learned all those years prior. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Yes. I too am right handed, and my left side of my face - shaved with my left hand - is always smoother than my right side of face.
I attribute it to the fact that when shaving left handed, I tend to pay more attention to technique and take more time than I do with my right hand.

I can't say I've noticed a difference in closeness or comfort. I have been meaning to video my shave for my own analysis though, and maybe I'll pick up a difference that way (maybe it takes me longer with one hand than the other?)
I normally use my right hand to do thingsFind me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage

I have noticed some difference in getting a closer shave with my left. I have attributed it to more attention to detail.

I too am right handed (very right handed) I try always to shave the left side of my face with my left hand, and I do a really great job except when I try to shave my neck I can't get the blade flat against my neck and always end up finishing my neck (left side) with my right hand. Any suggestions?
