The stuff bathrobes & some towels are made of.
Also, try putting some shave oil on your face after the hot towel but before you lather up. I find shave oil helps the blade glide more smoothly & makes me less prone to nick myself. Use baby oil or some other cheap mineral oil to try it & see if it works for you before you blow a big wad of cash on fancy shave oil.

Additionally, make sure you're stretching the skin well. This is the cause of about 90% of my cuts.
