Thread: Slice and dice

I recently got in a new strop, enabling me to have a pasted strop to touch up my blade, which really needed one. However, now that my blade is more sharp, I'm cutting myself more, especially around the jawline and neck! Some tips on avoiding this would be nice.

Yes, and possibly a wire edge! If your blade goes suddenly dull within, say a day to a week, I would say a wire edge is causing your problem!

To test for a wire edge, grab a handfull of terry cloth and try to saw it with the razor. A sharp edge won't cut it but a wire edge will rip it up.
