Probably not! - but that doesn't mean you can't. Some str8 shavers will re-strop in the middle of their shave, like between the 1st and 2nd lather. This is usually done if the edge of your razor starts degrading during the shave. The reasons for that can be many: a wire beard that destroys edges, + a very delicate full hollow blade, and an edge that is just not that sharp that has not been honed well, poor lather, poor prep, (all the things that can contribute to a poor shave) etc., etc.. - all of the above.
* I have stropped during a shave, but that was quite a while ago. My edges are much better and stronger now.
** If this is something that needs attention, you could think about looking for wedges, and/or razors that are 1/4 & 1/2 hollow ground. These, of course, have a more sturdy edge.
