    Default Formal Hello

    Hello.

    I have been wet-shaving for about a year now, and have heard the siren song of the straight. I have shaved with a straight once (this morning actually), and it went just ok. No major mistakes, but I'm not real sure how sharp the blade was. I have PM'd a gentleman here about a shave ready razor. If I get that one, I'll have something to compare my other straight to. Hope to be up to speed soon and be able to contribute to more discussions.

    Formal welcome right back at you. BTW if your not in pain and it took off whiskers then it is probably close to sharp at least. But getting a properly honed one is definatly a good idea
